As highlights, (1) The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer & Ally Education Program works toward promoting James Madison University's commitment to diversity through education, support, advocacy and the fostering of equity for all students, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity and expression. (2) Separately, the LGBTQ Employee group is committed to advocating for equality in the spirit of inclusivity and transparency for everyone who works at JMU, while also respecting the privacy and confidentiality of its members.
