The expenditures listed in the "Total Expenditures on Desktop and Laptop computers, displays, thin clients, televisions and imaging equipment" is NOT an all inclusive amount. The amount listed is based on expenditures directly with Dell and Apple in FY 2016. There are also numerous smaller expenditures with other suppliers, but it is not possible for us to break out what is specific to these exact items. *Expenditures per level are estimates.
According to AASHE STARS v2.1, administrative update one (May 2016), "EPEAT is a certification for computers and other electronic products. The standard’s evaluation criteria include: energy efficiency, reduction and elimination of environmentally sensitive materials, materials selection, design for end-of-life, product longevity and life cycle extension, end-of-life management, corporate performance, and packaging characteristics. EPEAT currently registers products in 41 countries and regions."
