We recycle many different materials (see http://www.jccc.edu/sustainability/projects/recycling/index.html for details), compost pre-consumer food waste from dining services and our Hospitality program kitchens, and donate surplus furniture and equipment when they are replaced but are still usable.

Particularly over breaks and when the campus is closed, JCCC Dining Services donates surplus food to local food pantries and kitchens.

JCCC composts all pre-consumer food waste from our Dining Services program as well as out of the Hospitality and Culinary program's kitchens.
