EV Recharging Stations

A brief description of the electric vehicle recharging stations:
We have 2 Level 1 and 8 Level 2 electric charging stations that serve spaces in the lower level of the Carlsen Center West parking garage, the second floor of the GP Garage, and the GYM parking lot. These are available to the public, including all students, staff, and faculty at no charge.

JCCC offers VPN access for employees to be able to use college network resources from off-site for employees to use on an as-needed or as-approved basis.

JCCC offers a flex-schedule option to staff employees over the summer semester to work 4, 10 hour days instead of 5, 8 hour days.

We participate in a local, annual competition amongst Kansas City Metro area employers to log "clean commutes" that employees complete called the Clean Commute Challenge. This can be walking, biking, carpooling, public transportation, telecommuting, or even staying on site for lunch.
