A brief description of the garden:
A group of Kings University College students, faculty and staff teamed up to create the first community garden on the Campus grounds. The 30' X 60" plot was subdivided into individual and group plots. Summer gatherings included dinner potlucks and vegetable exchanges. The project was initiated in hopes of increasing awareness of urban gardening and sustainable living. We are looking forward to a successful 2011 and beyond community garden. Information on the garden is published in our student newspaper at http://www.kingsu.ca/current-students/pdf/ISSUE10COLOUR.pdf.
