The King's University has a very strong environmental studies degree program, the first program of its kind at a Christian post-secondary institution in Canada. The program is highly integrated into the entire university's academic activities, and is praised by students, other faculty members, and received an extremely favourable external review in 2019:
"[T]he ENVS program does an exceptional job at providing both depth and breadth of environmental knowledge to its students by combining interdisciplinary core courses as well as discipline-based concentrations."
"Inspiring students to be both realistic about sustainability challenges that we face while remaining optimistic and dedicated to making change is essential. The King's University Environmental Studies Program manages to maintain that important balance between realism and hope."
"The commitment and caliber of the faculty members as educators, mentors, and experts is outstanding. Their ability to produce highly capable graduates, both as professionals and as citizens, is evident from the students we met.
