Health & Counseling Services offers medical and mental health services to enrolled Knox College students. It is our belief that physical and mental wellness are important in achieving a well-rounded academic experience. We offer a variety of services throughout the academic year including general medical evaluations, treatment for acute medical problems, reproductive health care, individual, couples and group counseling, and referrals to community resources. All of these services are confidential. Additionally, health and counseling staff sponsor educational programs that empower students to make healthy choices for themselves at Knox and beyond.

The College has an Employee Assistance Program that provides up to five free counseling session per year per immediate family member. In addition, there are a number of college-sponsored, wellness events and initiatives (on and off campus) ranging from regular preventative healthcare screenings (mammograms, blood pressure screenings, and flu shots) to fitness offerings (weekly yoga and Zumba classes, massage, and a bike to work day event) and lunch-and-learn events on stress management and other wellness information.
