A brief description of the institution’s efforts to support alternative fuel and power technology in its motorized fleet:
With each vehicle replacement, fuel economy is one of the highest priorities. We are looking to purchase more efficient vehicles with every new purchase we make. We use a great deal of efficient electric carts across campus to replace gas vehicles. LMU has a solar powered cart as well that is a demo vehicle and is built in house created in sustainability office.
