The Sustainability Office also guest lectures for the student body, hosts events throughout the year, and has implemented campaigns across campus such as the strawless campaign. Events include energy contests in the dorms, an electric vehicle exhibition, hosting a green basketball game, and hosting an annual Earth week fair.

The Sustainability office also partners with the Center for Service and Action (CSA) to create fellowships. In 2018-2019, Green LMU and CSA worked with a student fellow whose focus was on bringing garden and composting education to a multi unit family housing unit. The fellow worked with the Long Beach Arts Colony in assessing and evaluating garden logistics, irrigation, education, and resident composting.
