Biodiesel is used in 13 of the diesel equipment vehicles, including 6 garden tractors/ lawnmowers from the spring to the fall. Luther's crew of student recyclers is now riding greener in a compressed natural gas pickup truck. This truck appears normal, but it runs on a fuel of compressed natural gas. This fuel reduces carbon emissions by 35 percent compared to an average pickup.
