Does the institution use weather data or weather sensors to automatically adjust irrigation practices?:
Yes
None
A brief description of how weather data or sensors are used:
All the irrigation systems with the exception of the Union have rain sensors that will shut off the system if it rains a certain amount. Most are set at 1/2 inch. The irrigation system at the Union was the first to be installed and has a different type of controller. We are looking into the possibility of installing the same clock and rain sensor as the other systems.
