Data source(s) and notes about the submission:
Luther does not have a centralized office that collects data on student volunteering even though Luther students are highly involved in volunteering. Software that would gather this information is being considered.

The Luther Center for Sustainable Communities sent out emails via the Student Activities Council office to all recognized student organizations and greek organizations, as well as other organizations and efforts known to use volunteers. Information for academic year 2020-21 was virtually non-existent, due to COVID.

We were able to gather information for the first semester of 2021-22, and doubled that, as we anticipate at least as much--or more--volunteering in the spring semester.

The information presented here is self-reported. While AASHE staff review portions of all STARS reports and institutions are welcome to seek additional forms of review, the data in STARS reports are not verified by AASHE. If you believe any of this information is erroneous or inconsistent with credit criteria, please review the process for inquiring about the information reported by an institution or simply email your inquiry to stars@aashe.org.
