Free Personal Bike Program

Students on the Macalester College campus receive donated bikes that would otherwise end up in the landfill. They fix up and repair them to redistribute to students in need of a personal bike on campus. The students have so far fulfilled 19 of the 31 requests for bikes and will continue. Students are given a bike, a helmet, and a lock. They can choose to keep the bike after they graduate or donate it to be redistributed again.
