A list of new construction and major renovation projects that indicates the green building code, policy/guideline, or rating system that applies to each building:
Our Theater and Dance Building constructed in 2019 was designed and built in accordance with a multi-attribute green building code, but was not certified. Despite not pursuing a certification, the building was designed to exceed energy code, design incorporated lots of daylight into the space, water fixtures are all low flow, there is a lighting control system in the building to minimize runtimes, incorporate day lighting, etc., in addition design used stormwater management practices like permeable pavers, rain gardens, and delayed release. Finally, a 130kW solar array was installed on the roof, and a high percentage of the building that was torn down was recyled.
