A brief description of the institution’s methodology for evaluating employee satisfaction and engagement:
The Institutes contracts with MondernThink a 3rd party administrator of the survey. Respondents are asked to answer 75 questions across multiple categories including but not limited to Confidence in Senior Leadership, Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging, Job Satisfaction & Support, Mission & Pride, and Supervisor/Department Chair Effectiveness. Individual respondent data is not reported to maintain confidentiality. The most recent survey was done in 2021 and received a 74% response rate.
A brief description of the mechanism(s) by which the institution addresses issues raised by the evaluation:
Survey data is reported across the entire Institute as well as at the local department/program level. Survey data is presented at an Institute-wide town hall in presentation format to display results and themes of positive and negative feedback. Department leaders hold meetings with their areas to discuss results and form action plans to address areas for improvement. Survey results also inform Institute-wide plans to address issues.
