A brief description of any internal sustainability professional development and training opportunities that the institution makes available to non-academic staff:
(1) Percipio is a digital learning platform that engages and inspires staff to learn. It's micro-learning videos provide quick, targeted learning focussing on specific tasks delivered in real-time. It will create new ways of thinking about improving performance and skills.

Available 24/7 from campus or home, Percipio creates flexible learning opportunities that make it easy for learners of all ages to embrace technology and develop critical skills for success at school, at work, and in life. Percipio is integrated with Miami HR employee development programs.

Many Sustainability courses and material is available on Percipio. However, we are unable to track the percentage of staff participating.

(2) New to Miami University since our last submission is the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Certificate Program. As the student and employee populations, constituents, and community partners of Miami University are becoming more diverse, the university is committed to expanding its faculty and staff’s knowledge on issues of diversity and equity, enhancing cultural competencies, and strengthening the practice of inclusion to create a culture of belonging.

The 18-hour Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Certificate Program is designed to provide a valuable professional development opportunity for Miami faculty and staff to help increase individual aptitude and knowledge in foundational concepts of diversity, equity, and inclusion, provide ongoing opportunities to build upon their capability to appreciate differing perspectives, and gain valuable skills to contribute to a welcoming and inclusive learning and professional environment at Miami.
