A brief description of the incentive program(s):
As specified in the academic and reserach category, the university is offering diverse programs focusing on sustainability in the curriculum.
This approach is encouraging the academic staff to develop more courses and to propose graduation projects & Internships focusing on sustainability. In addition, the academic staff has the freedom to plan and propose estimated budget for events and conferences on sustainability. During these events, the travel and the stay of the staff are fully funded by the institution.
For instance, many visits are organized in favor of the academic staff to botanical expediations, mines, green energy plants and industrial sites all around Morocco to develop ideas and foster their expertise in different fields of sustainable ressource management and infrastructures. During these events, the travel and stay are all funded by the institution.
In addition, the Human capital department offered participation in international events to academic staff such as the Smart City symposium, Dubai Expo, and scientific stays in different countries to broaden their scientific network and develop partnerships with academics of different universities around the world.
