A brief description of when and why the GHG emissions baseline was adopted:
UM6P has carried out its first verified carbon footprint assessment according to the GHG Protocol Corporate Standard, through simulations using Both tools Bilan Carbone and SIMAP. The assessment details scope 1 & 2 relating to direct emissions resulting from the institution's main activities as well as scope 3. The project encompasses the four perimeters (UM6P, ASARI, AITTC and GEP) and has established a decarbonization plan in a voluntary strategy to reduce the carbon footprint. Thus, we have considered that the baseline and the performance year are the same.

A brief description of the institution’s GHG emissions reduction initiatives:
- Performing an energetic audit (identify the sources of energy saving and GHG reduction).
- Generate annual reports of energy consumption and GHG emissions per site.
- Sealing control of air conditioning equipment (reduce 90% of GHG emissions related to this item).
- Raise the set temperature of server rooms Virtualize servers.
- Raise employee awareness of eco-gestures (Saving 3% of electricity consumption)
