Name of the institution’s featured sustainability program, initiative, or accomplishment:
1337
A brief description of the institution’s featured program, initiative, or accomplishment:
1337 offers the first computer training program in Morocco, entirely free, open 24/7 and accessible to all without any prerequisite of diploma or computer knowledge. It's a complete immersion in a world where the future is already present, where computer science and lines of code are more than a vague and boring concept...
The pedagogy of Treize, Trente-Sept is based on peer-learning. A participative approach that allows students to unleash their creativity through project-based learning. To train the future coders of tomorrow, we had to rethink learning, to make computer science fun, exciting and the opposite of the restrictive vision that the general public may have.
Thirteen, Thirty-Seven uses the technical and pedagogical methods of 42 Paris, elected best code school in the world by CodinGame.

Second Point of Distinction
Social Experience Program
A brief description of the second program/initiative/accomplishment:
The Social Experience Program is a community engagement and volunteering program for our students. It's an initiative that is run jointly by UM6P and the OCP Foundation.
The SEP offers internships and civic actions to be carried out with actors from civil society, social organizations and social enterprises. It is therefore an initiative that is part of the civic spirit of our university and whose success depends on the involvement of all of us. The official launch of the program follows two pilot initiatives that illustrate the two volunteering formulas offered by the SEP :
The first initiative was organized jointly with the student office and was carried out with SOS Children's Village in order to support the local management of the association in setting up a project for an international competition.
A second initiative was proposed by the School of Collective Intelligence by supervising two M2 students in their graduation project within Impact for Development.
In order to support volunteer students, the SEP offers to cover their living expenses during the commitment period up to a certain amount depending on the type of action and whether it's not already offered by the host organization. We consider in this case as living expenses: return transport to the place of action, accommodation on site if justified and catering.

GREEN ENERGY PARK
A brief description of the third program/initiative/accomplishment:
The Green Energy Park, a main component of the university infrastructure has a 200 kWp photovoltaic pilot plant using 5 different technologies (c-Si, a-Si, CIGS, CdTe, CPV) from different manufacturers for testing and comparison of different systems of different photovoltaic technologies. The power plant is composed of several systems with a power between 4-23 kWp with different configurations (fixed system, with tracker with a single axis, bi-axial tracker) The systems of different technologies are electrically separated by PV inverters which supply the platform network with the PV energy produced. The PV installation is also able to produce an energetic surplus of 10 MW that will be destined to the Mohammed VI Polytechnic University use. An ongoing project of the energetic connection between The green energy park and the university will be implemented by the end of 2020.
