Part 1. Greenhouse gas emissions inventory
Yes
A copy of the most recent GHG emissions inventory:
A brief description of the methodology and/or tool used to complete the GHG emissions inventory:
The Centre for Climate Change Management at Mohawk College conducted the 2018-19 Greenhouse Gas report using metrics collected between Sept 2018-August2019. Metrics were independently verified by Facilities Services.
Mohawk College used The Greenhouse Gas Protocol(the Protocol) which is a voluntary GHG accounting tool for understanding, quantifying, and managing GHG emissions, and is considered the standard for emissions quantification. The Greenhouse Gas Protocol: A Corporate Accounting and Reporting Standard (Revised Edition) was used to guide the development of this inventory.

Has the GHG emissions inventory been validated internally by personnel who are independent of the GHG accounting and reporting process and/or verified by an independent, external third party?:
No

Data source(s) and notes about the submission:
While Mohawk has never created a formalized inventory of air emissions, students in the Environmental Technician program have access to an air quality measuring station where they measure particulate matter for learning purposes.
