A brief description of the bicycle sharing program:
MSU Facilities Services provides free bicycle rentals to any MSU affiliate. In addition, commuter bikes are available to rent for a daily fee through the Outdoor Recreation Program Rental Shop. Both of these options ensure that biking is an accessible transportation option.

Yes

A brief description of the incentives for fuel efficient vehicles:
MSU offers preferred parking for fuel-efficient vehicles through MSU Parking Services. To qualify for a Low Emission Vehicle Parking Permit, vehicles must meet the criteria as a LEED v. 4 45+ vehicle on the LEED Qualified Vehicle List. Once a request is approved, the applicant will receive a 20% discount on their parking permit.

Montana State University encourages commuters to save money, cut carbon emissions, and reduce impacts on roadways by utilizing available eco- friendly means of transportation to campus. The Guaranteed Ride Home Program provides MSU staff and faculty with a reliable return home if an emergency prohibits them from using a sustainable method of transportation. In addition, the Outdoor Recreation Program offers bike-fix-it classes to facilitate safe riding conditions for bike commuters.
