Aging vehicles are downsized or replaced with new vehicles that are more fuel efficient. Security services downsized their truck to a Kubota to reduce their footprint, and the Parking Services truck will be replaced with a hybrid vehicle or a plug-in hybrid to save fuel.
Parking and Facilities Management have also implemented 4 electric car charging stations at the Riddle Library & Learning Centre, and allow trickle charger access at electrified parking stalls.
