MRU has four EV Level 2 (7.2 kW) Charge Stations, one station inside the Parkade of Riddell Library and Learning Center, and three stations outside Riddell Library and Learning Center in Lot 6A.

Additionally, outlets providing trickle charge are available, free of cost, in multiple parking lots for block heaters as well as electric vehicle charging.

MRU Parking & Transportation Services has and continues to work closely with the City of Calgary and Calgary Transit to improve the level of transit service offered to our campus. MRU features a dedicated transit entry onto campus, as well as a Universal Bus Pass program called UPass, which is loaded onto a combined campus ID and services card called OneCard.
MRU also features rental bike lockers and end of trip facilities in the Riddell Library and Learning Center, and bike storage lockers by Recreation.
