A brief description of the institution’s efforts to support alternative fuel and power technology in its motorized fleet:
As we move forward we have created a plan to ultimately replace most of the fleet with electric vehicles. Some of the grounds staff need motorized trucks, and equipment, but for the general trades fleet, we will be switching to electric. The plan has been set –up to phase out gas and change to electric. This will be phased in over a 5-10 year period.
