A brief description of the employee educators program (1st program):
Sustainable Development Education Promotion Team
The project was funded by the Higher Education Sprout Project Office. It's initially composed of 35 cross-disciplinary teachers who conducted research related to sustainable development. In every semester, the NTNU organizes weekly reading clubs and foreign scholars' experience sharing to train team members. They discuss sustainable development research directions and teaching curriculum design, and promote to their departments. Besides, lectures and forums were held every year to promote to other teachers.
At present, the number of the team in this project has accumulated to 65. This year, the theme is focused on "Challenges of Coastal Settlement Development under Environmental Changes", and more teachers are invited to join the project to promote sustainable development issues.
