A brief description of the method(s) used to gather data about student commuting:
The university is located in the center of Taipei city. All the drivers of cars and riders of motorcycles have to apple for parking permits. The numbers of the permits show student commuting. According to statistics in 2020, the number of students driving is 224 and the number of riding is 1,844. The total number of the above is 2068. The total number of students is 15,920, and the number of commuting public transportation is 13,852 and the rate of sustainable commuting is about 86.4% (13852/15920).
