A brief description of the wildlife habitat program, policy, or practice:
As part of the Rocky Branch (urban stream) restoration project, native vegetation provides habitat, cover and food for wildlife. Plantings have increased the width of the forested buffer zone, creating a wildlife corridor and shading the creek. The Lonnie Poole Golf Course is an Audubon Certified course, with part of that certification being to increase wildlife habitat. The course has active wildlife corridors, as well as bird boxes and other wildlife habitat features.
