A brief description of the composting or mulching program:
Materials are collected from campus and chipped and processed at a FIVE3 acre site managed by Waste Reduction and Recycling. Material is wind-rowed and turned. Materials are then used on campus as mulch and soil amendment. Large woody debris is taken to the City of Raleigh Yard Waste Facility.
