University Housekeeping formed committees over 3 years ago to review all chemicals, tools, supplies and equipment that were tasked to seek green alternatives in all areas where it made sense. - Seek green product (new or replacement)
- Submit product to chemical committee
- Test product in an area for a predetermined time
- Implement product, if desired results are achieved during testing
- If testing produces undesired results, other green products are sought
