NC State's Tri-Towers Energy and Water Challenge
A brief description of the campaign:
Residents of Metcalf, Bowen and Carroll Residence Halls (known as the Tri-Towers) will compete to see which hall could most reduce its energy and water use. Residents of the winning hall receive a pizza party.
A brief description of the measured positive impact(s) of the campaign:
Energy and water usage was reduced as students competed to win a pizza party. These energy/water-saving habits are more likely to stick with the students even after the competition, encouraging life-long sustainable values.

Professional Clothing Drive
A brief description of the campaign (2nd campaign):
In 2019, the NC State Council on the Status of Women organized a clothing drive for professional clothes and donated to local nonprofits.
A brief description of the measured positive impact(s) of the campaign (2nd campaign):
Over 100 pounds of professional clothing was collected and donated to staff and community members in need.

NC State holds an annual shredding and recycling drive, which allows participants to donate, shred and/or safely dispose of paper, electronics, rigid plastic, cardboard, tube lights, and non-perishable foods that are sent to the Feed the Pack food pantry.
