A brief description of the bicycle sharing program:
NC State has an agreement in place for bike/scooter share with Lime, but currently no bikes are on campus as they are phasing out pedal bikes and bringing e-bikes to campus instead. There are 300 e-scooters on campus currently. Students, employees, and visitors can utilize the Lime app to access the scooters.

NC State affiliates have access to Zipcar, with various stations located around campus for easy pickup and drop off. NC States students, faculty, and staff can also receive a discounted Zipcar rate.

NC State has several EV charging stations located throughout campus. They are available to students, faculty, and staff with a valid NC State parking permit. NCSU has a Transportation Demand Management Program called WolfTrails that oversees all sustainable transportation programs on campus. WolfTrails provides commuter incentives for those that bike, walk, take transit, carpool, vanpool, or telework. Incentives include the GoPass and reduced parking options for carpoolers, vanpoolers, and bike, walk, and transit commuters who need to drive to campus occasionally. Additionally, all NCSU employees who use an alternative mode for their commute to campus are eligible for GoTriangle's FREE emergency ride home program (ERH). Emergency Ride Home also known as ERH provides commuters who regularly carpool, vanpool, bike, walk or use transit with a reliable ride home for emergencies.
