A brief description of notable policies or programs to support non-traditional students:
NC State's BackTrackers organization helps nontraditional undergrad and grad students find a place to belong, and a way to begin to build a strong network of friends. Specifically, they provide peer mentoring, academic and emotional support, campus and community resources, and help members re-acclimate to life as a college student. They also help each other learn how to balance the academic demands of classes and homework with job, family, and community obligations. Additionally, the Study Abroad office has curated several resources for non-traditional students who are interested in studying abroad, as seen on their website: https://studyabroad.ncsu.edu/nontraditional/
