A brief description of the facilities for bicycle commuters:
Locked bike storage are installed in the parking garage, and a number of sheltered outdoor bike racks are available on campus.All students, faculty and staff have access to the showers in the gym if they are members. Membership is free for all full-time students, and small quarterly fee for part-time students, faculty and staffs. Lockers are also available for rental in the gym or on a first come first served basis in the campus's lounges.

Does the institution provide short-term bicycle parking for all occupied buildings and makes long-term bicycle storage available for students who live on-site (if applicable)?:

A brief description of the bicycle parking and storage facilities:
Bicycle parking area are available all around main campus buildings. Most of them are sheltered and located just few steps away from the classrooms and offices. NSC Sustainability Office manages a bike repair station adjacent to the Public Safety Office.

NSC is a partner with the City's bicycle master plan, New greenways have been designed and will continue into 2018. Neighborhood greenways are safer, calmer residential streets for you, your family, and neighbors. We make people walking and biking the priority. Neighborhood greenways can include: -20 mph speed limit signs -speed humps to calm traffic -stop signs for side streets crossing the neighborhood greenway -signs and pavement markings to help people find their way easier crossings of busy streets with crosswalks, flashing beacons, or traffic signals http://www.seattle.gov/transportation/NSeattleSafety.htm http://www.seattle.gov/transportation/bikemaster.htm

Seattle has a number of bike sharing programs available to anybody to use (e.g., Spin, LimeBike, Ofo).

A brief description of the mass transit programs:
Any student may purchase a discounted quarterly ORCA Card with proof of enrollment from the Cashier's office. The current cost for the ORCA Card is available from the Fees page, but as of Summer 2017, students can purchase a $250 card for $125 each quarter. Faculty and staff members may purchase an ORCA Card at a discounted rate. Exempt, classified, full-time faculty, and part-time faculty working at least 50 percent FTE for more than two consecutive quarters may obtain an ORCA Card for $51 and the TMP/CTR fee. Fees may be paid through a payroll deduction, and passes can be picked up from the Transportation Coordinator. Hourly staff working less than 50 percent FTE, and part-time faculty working at least 50 percent FTE who have not worked more than two consecutive quarters at or above 50 percent FTE, may obtain either an ORCA Card or parking permit (but not both) by paying the TMP/CTR fee and ORCA Card fee or the parking fee respectively. The fee will need to be paid at the Cashier's Office. Guaranteed Return Trip Program

Seattle Colleges participates in the Commute Trip Reduction program with the city. Carpool/Vanpool Programs

A brief description of the carpool/vanpool program:
Discounted carpool permits are available for both students and employees. To participate, two or more individuals must commute together for at least 50 percent of the carpool's longest individual commute distance. Students must present their class schedules when applying for the carpool program, to demonstrate that they are on campus together at least 3 times per week. Employees may carpool with a partner whose destination is away from the campus. Carpool routes must meet a standard of reasonableness determined by the campus Transportation Coordinator. Special carpool parking is provided for those with carpool permits. The carpool permits can be obtained from the Transportation Coordinator during the first 2 weeks of each quarter

Car Sharing Program

Another benefit to Transportation Management Plan permanent employees is access to the Zipcar car–sharing program. Non–driving employees can join the program and check out cars between the hours of 7:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays. The cars can be used for personal or business reasons for up to six hours per day.

EV Recharging Stations

There are four Blink Electric Vehicle charging stations at North, funded by Department of Energy through a project known as the EV Project. It is available for all students, faculty and staffs. Seattle College District Policy NUMBER: 447 TITLE: Telecommuting Adopted Date: 10/13/2016 Seattle College District supports the concept of telecommuting and encourages the practice when it does not detract from the efficient and effective delivery of services to the colleges. The District recognizes the benefits of telecommuting, which includes increased productivity and morale, decreased traffic congestion, energy use, and parking problems. College and/or District administration will be responsible for the approval of all telecommuting agreements. Requests to telecommute as a disability accommodation are handled separately through the disability accommodation process.
