A brief description of the institution’s methodology for evaluating employee satisfaction and engagement:
Planning, Real Estate, and Facilities (PREF) worked with Gallup to administer an Employment Engagement Survey. The goal of the survey is to determine the sense of belonging and engagement in the workplace. The tool will help managers determine what employees need and how we can improve our workplace.
A brief description of the mechanism(s) by which the institution addresses issues raised by the evaluation:
The PREF department plans to administer this survey annually so that we can get continued feedback. Results are discussed with the Senior Leadership Team to develop new policies and be responsive to employee needs. The survey is a recommendation from the PREF Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Employee Task Force.
