Sustainability Committee Student Rep
A brief description of the student educators program (1st program):
The Sustainability Committee includes representation by student representatives, with the Committee mandate to continue a transition to a sustainable university, achieve widespread participation, and to inform and advance organizational change.
In addition to Committee meetings, the Rep provides peer-to-peer educational events such as through tabling and hosting lunch n' learns.

A brief description of the student educators program’s target audience (1st program):
Sustainability Committee student reps target students to be aware of and to participate in institutional decision-making. For example, the Grad Student Rep and Student Union Sustainability Rep co-hosted a series of Climate Conversations to enable students to discuss their approaches to address climate through their research and/or art & design practices, and to provide feedback on how the curriculum supports this or could further support these approaches.

ReUse Student Monitors
A brief description of the student educators program (2nd program):
The Reuse Depot is a student-led project to raise awareness of material sustainability and to provide and manage campus infrastructure that enables the circulation and redistribution of reusable art & design materials.
Students are currently hired by the Office of Diversity, Equity & Sustainability Initiatives and have a range of duties including: Tabling weekly to communicated directly with students on campus, managing the @OCAD_ReUse Instagram account, soliciting donations from campus and community partners, hosting art exhibition feature upcycled materials, and organizing the ReUse Depot itself.

Peer Mentors
A brief description of the student educators program (3rd program):
Peer Mentors are knowledgeable, enthusiastic and confident upper-year undergraduate students going into second-, third-, fourth-, or upper-year studies who—through summer and early fall—assist first-year undergraduate students with their transition to OCAD University: provide support, guidance and information regarding university procedures, student services and extracurricular activities; and encourage engagement with community, peers, faculty and staff.
Peer Mentors receive orientation on sustainability services and programs available at OCAD U as well orientation on approaches to sustainability in art & design education. The Peer Mentors are empowered to share this information with incoming students.
