A brief description of the management system:
Building temperatures and fresh air flow are centrally monitored and controlled by a DDC system. In addition, we have hired an Energy Manager and partnered with Fortis BC (electrical and gas utility) and Pulse energy to monitor and compare natural gas and electrical energy usage in all buildings.
Okanagan College uses the Smart Tool program which is mandated by the Province of British Columbia to track carbon emissions.
