A brief description of the institution’s methodology for evaluating employee satisfaction and engagement:
The results from the fall 2020 campus climate survey are in. The data was generated from over 2,600 employee responses to a variety of questions related to inclusivity on campus. Last spring and this fall, a campus climate survey was sent to both OSU students and employees to help inform our efforts.

Nine categories were explored, including 1. Inclusion/Support, 2. Belonging, 3. Working with Others, 4. Experience at OSU, 5. Concern, 6. D-Course Issues, 7. Improvement, 8. Discussion with Others, and 9. Equity. Each section explored whether there were significant differences among each of the following demographic variables: Disability, Ethnicity, Campus Affiliation, College Affiliation, Employee Type, Gender, Sexual Orientation, Religion, Marital Status, and Race. Key findings from the report indicate an overall positive sentiment.

A brief description of the mechanism(s) by which the institution addresses issues raised by the evaluation:
According to the executive summary, which highlights significant statistical deviations for specific groups, participants who identified as cisgender had a higher rank on the following factors than participants who identified as transgender: Inclusion/support, experience at OSU, belonging, working with others, discussion with others, and equity.
