A brief description of the policies and/or guidelines to improve outdoor air quality and minimize air pollutant emissions from mobile sources:
The sustainability office promotes walking and biking to school through signage, and providing bicycle racks and indoor lockers. Ontario Tech U provides bus passes to all full time students to decrease single passenger driving. Ontario Tech U also promotes carpooling by designating carpooling spots, and advertising Blancride.
Ontario Tech U has No-Idling signs up outside buildings on campus.
