A brief description of the activities and substantive accomplishments of the institution-wide coordinating body or officer during the previous three years:
Ontario Tech U has a Asset and Sustainability planner. Activities include creating on and off campus sustainability initiatives (energy related projects include LED retrofits, window film installation and thermal storage improvements), documenting and reporting on greenhouse gas emissions, waste management, creating sustainability strategies and asset management while providing free water bottles and implementing and recycling and waste awareness programs). The role also entails actively building community partnerships, overseeing the student-Blue Team and Chairing the Ontario Tech U Sustainability Committee.
