A brief description of how sustainability is included in new employee orientation:
New employees are encouraged to visit through the Office of Campus Infrastructure and Sustainability web page to learn about sustainability initiatives, creating a green office space and how to participate in related projects. They are also given a free #GoGreenStayBlue branded reusable water bottle and have the option to attend the Sustainability 101 training session. New employees are given resources relating to health and safety both on and off campus along with resources available to them (family support, childcare, mental wellness, a gym pass voucher along with other benefits and support networks).
We include information on all of our Energy, Building Envelope, Solar, Waste, Beehive, Nursery, Greenhouse and Garden Programs, Ink Cartridge Recycling, Transportation, Waste collection/management and Green Cleaning Programs with Links to Go Green, Green Team and Blue Team so that employees can engage directly.
