A brief description of the methodology the institution followed to complete the research inventory:
On-line resources were used to compile list of faculty and their research interests. Specifically, the list was compiled by going to the faculty listing for each school, and pulling name, title and research interests for each listed faculty member. If no research interest was listed, the faculty member was not included on the list. The sustainability director worked with a set of student sustainability ambassadors (n=7), representing all schools within the college, to review research interests. Students were able to provide perspective on faculty beyond what is simply included in their on-line profiles. Additionally we cross-referenced our database with the Pure Elsevier database to ensure identified faculty researchers from Penn State Behrend were included within this database as publishing on SDG topics, https://pennstate.pure.elsevier.com/.
