The Sustainability Institute staff offer a 30 minute virtual session covering: What is Sustainability, how this concept plays into decision making, and resources. Open to all campuses, in AY 2021-2022 Behrend had the most attendees of all the campuses.
Additionally, on an ongoing basis, the Sustainability Institute offers workshops and presentations on the following:
- How to form Green Teams
- How to adopt the Green Paws Program to have an office "green" certified
- The Recycling Roadshow
- Custodial training on recycling
Annual the Sustainability Institute hosts Commonwealth Campus Sustainability Forums, which provide networking and training opportunities to all faculty and non-academic staff who wish to attend.
