Between 2013 and 2014, Polytechnique rebuilt the second floor of the Pavillon Principal (Main building) to improve spaces dedicated to student life. This consisted in interior redesign (not considered as a major renovation): a new coffee shop, tables, couchs and TV screens were installed and all the main student committee offices were redesigned. The project was called "Vitrine Étudiante".
