Yes
A brief description of the institution’s Fair Trade initiatives, including the year formal designation was achieved and/or renewed:
Polytechnique Montréal has been designated as a Fair Trade Campus by Fairtrade Canada, Canadian Fair Trade Network, and Association québecoise du commerce équitable since March 2017. The current status was renewed in July 2018. At Polytechnique, Fair Trade coffee is served and offered everywhere, and Fair Trade tea and chocolate is avaiable at all points of sale. The catering service offers bulk Fair Trade sugar, and in the past three years events have been designated as Fair Trade events (the last one, in the fall of 2018, was a breakfast for cyclists, where Fair Trade bananas and muffins made with Fair Trade chocolate chips were offered).
