Randolph College has several programs that support for students who wish to pursue research related to sustainability, including:

The Randolph College Summer Research Program

Randolph's Innovative Student Experience (RISE) program. Every Randolph College student can apply to receive a grant of $2,000 for research, creative work, experiential learning, and other scholarly pursuits as a sophomore, junior, or senior.

The Environmental Studies and Science Department provides funds to support sustainability research, and faculty serve as advisors for internships.

The Randolph College Sustainability Coordinator supervises several Sustainability Interns each year.

Yes

A brief description of the faculty sustainability research program:
Professional Development funds are available for Randolph College faculty to pursue research, including Sustainability research. The Summer Research program is also available to fund faculty-student collaborations.

Members of the faculty shall demonstrate scholarly or creative accomplishment in their disciplines or programmatic areas. This may take various peer-reviewed forms, including (but not limited to) articles, books, book reviews, grant proposals, performances, exhibitions, and presentations at professional conferences or symposia. Continuing scholarly or creative activity is extremely important because it contributes to the development and maintenance of excellent, effective teaching.
