A brief description of the campaign(s):
Due to budget cuts, WHEELS bus service to RVCC was stopped in late May 2010. In April, RVCC survey collected input from students and staff to advocate for bus service. RVCC worked closely with Somerset County RideWise to establish the CAT-2R shuttle in late June 2010. To increase shuttle ridership and reduce parking lot congestion, posters were posted on campus throughout the year, a second survey was conducted in December 2010, free bus tickets were distributed at student orientation, and bus information and schedules were made available (via email, on the RVCC web site, and on campus). In June 2011, Somerset County started a second shuttle, the CAT-2R.
