A brief description of any internal sustainability professional development and training opportunities that the institution makes available to non-academic staff:
Sustainability trainings are offered annually for Earth Day (monthlong in April) and sometimes during Campus Sustainability Month and All College Days. In April 2022, employees were invited to a tree documentary screening (Under the Big Oak), a bat expert presentation, and an electric car show.

Numerous Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion trainings were offered in Summer 2022.

A brief description of any external professional development and training opportunities in sustainability that are supported by the institution :
The College supports employee attendance at external online professional development and training programs. This includes AASHE conferences and webinars. For example, Sustainability & Energy Coordinator Sue Dorward attended the AASHE conference in 2021 and attends one or two sustainability-related webinars or external meetings most weeks.

The College supports the professional development of the College's two Environmental Science professors, Profs. Stander and Kelly. They took a number of online courses on advanced statistics through Highlands Statistics LLC and Penn State University, which they needed to analyze the data sets compiled by our students. The College also supported Prof. Kelly's attendance/presentation at the Northeastern Natural History Conference in Albany, NY, in Spring 2022.
