A brief description of the institution’s sustainability projects fund:
The Environmental Sustainability Committee sponsors a clothing donation bin on campus that brings in $200 per month (from the clothing bin company) to be used for sustainability projects on campus. The fund is managed by the RVCC Foundation and is utilized as determined by the Environmental Sustainability Committee.

The Foundation also manages the $500,000 Gibson Fund which is funding new academic programs environmental sustainability that will lead to sustainable earning opportunities for RVCC students.

A brief description of the multi-stakeholder decision-making process used to determine which projects receive funding through the sustainability projects fund:
The Environmental Sustainability Committee is composed of students, staff, administrators and faculty. The Committee votes on what projects to fund. T funding has gone toward student sustainability service awards, sustainability event speaker fees and food, and native tree plantings.

Applications to the Gibson fund are evaluated by the Foundation and the Gibsons.
