A brief description of the methodology the institution followed to complete the inventory:
A two-step process was used.
First, a text analysis of course descriptions using a set of key words associated with the three pillars of sustainability – Social, Economic, and Environmental - was used. Members of the Academic Working Group provided input on keywords to use in this search.
Next, a subset of these courses, which included 2407 full-time diploma and certificate courses, were manually reviewed to ensure consistency with the automtated approach. This process identified similar rates of sustainability related and focused courses.
