The number above reflects the number of departments with a PI that has submitted a sustainability related research proposal through the Sponsored Research department. Not all faculty members conducting research and scholarship submit their work to the Sponsored Research department. Therefore the actual number of departments with a faculty member conducting sustainability related research maybe higher. RIT will work to develop a more comprehensive inventory of sustainability related research over the next few years.
